Residential Care and Support
Our ethos is to provide impeccable, bespoke, and holistic care packages to children and young people whose assessed care needs we feel can be managed.
Through values such as stickability, unconditional positive regard and an empathic and warm approach, alongside the staff developing excellent working relationships with children and young people we hope to assist them to succeed to their full potential. There will be a warm nurturing family environment where care staff are implicitly aware of everyone’s care needs and will support each individual to succeed to their full potential. We will endeavour to ensure that the children and young people in our care develop a positive self-view, where their welfare needs are met and that they achieve in line with their peers, and to meet their full potential from the point of admission. They will receive bespoke care where they are treated equally to others and as an individual, based on their diverse needs. We aim to encourage the children and young people in our care to make a positive contribution to the home and become a positive member of the local community whilst assisting them to develop the skills to live independently and developing resilience to allow them to be more able to cope with significant life changes..
Our Approach
We work with a family and Social services to provide a bespoke care package to ensure that the young person gets the best outcomes from their placement.
Our staff are trained in therapeutic approaches, and regular key working and direct work sessions are completed with the young people, we also have an animal assistance Activity programme, we have trained assistance dogs that come and support our young person, whether that be for an activity, a key working session or even to accompany them to a meeting or a shopping trip.
